This DVD about smoking, for young people, was made by young people in the WELB area in Northern Ireland. It demonstrates that behavioural patterns established in the teenage years are difficult to change in adulthood, particularly where such an addictive drug as nicotine is conerned. The majority of adult smokers take up the habit by their teens. The DVD aims to provide information, support and encouragement for young smokers to make good choices and think twice about the consequences of their actions. |
